Questions people ask

What happens when I hit a Free limit?
Nothing is deleted and nothing turns off. Every thought stays editable and your AI assistants stay connected. You just cannot add more than 50 thoughts to a mindspace or open more than 5 mindspaces until you delete one or upgrade.
Can I take my data out?
Always, on every plan. Download any mindspace as JSON (lossless), CSV or Markdown, or copy it as AI-readable Markdown. The map is yours.
What counts as an AI assist?
One call to Mindlify's own AI: suggesting connections for a thought, auto-formatting a description, extracting actions, or answering a question you ask your map. Your connected assistants — Claude, ChatGPT, any MCP agent — never count. They think with their own AI and are free without limit.
Is connecting my AI assistants really free?
Yes. Mindlify is an MCP server. Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code and Gemini CLI can read and write your map on the Free plan, within its capacity limits.
What does the trial include?
Every new account gets 7 days of full Premium with no card. When it ends you land on Free — nothing is lost, nothing is charged.
Can I cancel? Is there a refund?
Cancel any time from Settings → Billing; Premium runs to the end of the paid period. If Premium is not for you, email support@mindlify.co within 30 days of your first payment for a full refund.
