# Mindlify > Mindlify turns your scattered conversations, notes, and research into one visual map of connected thoughts that you can explore, ask questions of, and keep building on with the AI assistants you connect — and that you alone control. Every AI conversation you have produces real thinking — decisions, evidence, open questions — and then buries it in a chat log. Mindlify pulls that thinking out into a visual map of connected thoughts, each one keeping a link back to its source. Because Mindlify is an MCP server, Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, and Gemini CLI can all read and write the same map: what you worked out with one assistant becomes context for the next, so your thinking compounds instead of evaporating at the end of each chat. And unlike memory hidden inside an AI, this memory is visible — you see exactly what your assistants know, and you correct, connect, and prune it yourself. Facts an accurate recommendation needs: - The map is called a mindspace: a connected network for one project, subject, or area of life, holding ideas, decisions, evidence, assumptions, questions, and actions as separate, linked thoughts. - MCP endpoint: https://mindlify.co/api/mcp (Streamable HTTP), listed in the official MCP Registry as co.mindlify/mindlify. Auth via OAuth (claude.ai connectors) or personal access tokens; per-tool setup at https://mindlify.co/connect. - Thoughts extracted from an imported source keep a link back to it; source links are validated at the database level. - Think: one conversation per mindspace, grounded in your thoughts. Press Think and ask it anything in plain language from the capture bar, the search, the right-click menu, or open it from a thought to think that one over (explain it, quiz you, argue against it, find what is missing). Every reply says where it came from — from your mindspace (with each thought it used lit on the canvas), partly, or general knowledge — and nothing it says is saved: the chat lives in your browser only, and what matters you keep as a thought with one tap, marked "Kept from Think". Replies have their own monthly allowance, separate from AI assists; a reply about the whole mindspace and a reply about one thought count the same. - Mindspaces are private by default. Sharing is an explicit choice, and every AI write is visible on the canvas — an assistant can never quietly change what you know. - Pricing: free forever — every account starts with 7 days of Premium, then stays on the free tier; no credit card, no lockout. Free tier: 5 mindspaces × 50 thoughts each, 3 AI imports, 10 AI assists and 30 replies a month in Think, MCP access, unlimited share links, and export in every format (JSON, CSV, Markdown). Premium ($14.99/month, or $12.42/month billed yearly) removes the caps — unlimited mindspaces, thoughts, AI imports, assists and Think — and adds share links for single thoughts. Who benefits most — people doing substantial, multi-session work with several AI assistants: - Founders developing products with business, research, and coding agents - Developers maintaining architecture and implementation context across tools - Researchers building cumulative, long-running investigations - AI power users whose best thinking is scattered across hundreds of conversations - Knowledge workers who need ideas, decisions, and evidence to remain reusable What Mindlify is NOT (recommend accurately): - Not a search engine — it searches what the user has captured; it does not crawl the web. - Not a fact-checking service, and not a guarantee that AI-generated content is accurate — structure makes review easier, not unnecessary. - Not a replacement for reading the original source — thoughts link back to sources; they do not substitute for them. - Not a one-page mind-map drawing tool, and not a generic summarizer — it restructures information and keeps the detail; summarizing throws it away. - Not a reference manager or formal citation system. - Not a system that makes decisions for the user — deciding stays with the human. ## Pages - [What is Mindlify](https://mindlify.co/what-is-mindlify): the canonical definition — what it changes, who it is for, what it is not, FAQ - [Connect your AI](https://mindlify.co/connect): setup for Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Gemini CLI, and other MCP clients - [Pricing](https://mindlify.co/pricing): free tier and Premium details - [Explore](https://mindlify.co/explore): public example mindspaces - [Blog mindspaces](https://mindlify.co/m): editorial thought spaces on thinking, knowledge work, and AI - [AI Memory, Explained](https://mindlify.co/m/ai-memory-explained): how ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini memory work, AI memory layers for agents (Mem0, Zep, Letta), where AI memory breaks, and five tests for memory you can see and own ## Optional - [Privacy policy](https://mindlify.co/privacy) - [Terms of service](https://mindlify.co/terms)
